single-stream recycling

A recycling bin is located in Mossbank for RM of Sutton ratepayers to place their clean paper, plastic, and

food-grade tins.

Please note that #1 plastic, as well as any plastic without a ♻ symbol on it, cannot be recycled and must not go in the recycling bin.

Please make sure to flatten cardboard boxes to avoid wasted bin space resulting in increased costs.

household garbage

The RM partially subsidizes the placement of solid waste bins

in the yardsites of any residents within the municipality who wish to have one.

In 2024, the fee for a standard 3-yard bin, emptied every 4 weeks,

is $168 annually.  A larger bin, or more frequent emptying,

can be arranged for an increased fee (dependent on the

desired arrangement).

If you would like a bin in your yard, please fill out the application form and return it to the municipal office.

Residents of Mazenod and Palmer have access to locked, shared 6-yard bins in their respective hamlets.

30-yard roll-off bins are placed in the hamlets twice annually

(spring and fall) for the use of all ratepayers.
